Why Our Beard Balm?
We have carefully handcrafted our beard balm and other beard products since 2017, and we have formulated, improved, and tested numerous times to perfect a beard balm that we were happy to use ourselves and on our own beards without the pain points of being hard-to-remove or grainy product.
We know that scent like taste, is a personal preference, so we have catered to a vast scent range to accommodate all types of noses. We believe, by testing the market, that our balms are far superior to the generic melt-and-pour balms that are currently available from other companies.
Like true craftsmen, melt and pour is not good enough for us, so we use heating, whipping, and freezing techniques when creating our beard balm. We find this gives a superior texture to what else is available and is one of the many things that separate our product range from any competition.
This process, although more complex, it allows us to create a better, smoother product then traditional beard balm products on the market that are hard and difficult to remove from the container. It is softer but still retains all the holding properties of a traditional balm.
Our product has a shelf life of up to 12 months and is made in small batches, prolonging freshness as well as longevity. It’s a day-to-day product for styling, holding, and softening the beard, giving it a fresh smell all day.
Beard Balm Ingredients
Cold Pressed: Organic Jojoba Oil: The organic jojoba oil closely mimics human skin oil and has extra vitamins for the skin and great moisturizing properties. This helps to balance the level of Sebum oil to target and eliminate dandruff and beard itch.
Beeswax: beeswax is used as our main holding ingredient to the beard balm. It also helps to create a layer of protection from the elements to the beard hair as it hardens.
Cold Pressed: Organic Sweet Almond Oil: This is our second carrier oil and that also helps to balance the level of Sebum oil to target and eliminate dandruff and beard-itch.
Mango Butter: It is an impeccable ingredient for treating dry skin and soothing sensitive skin. This is because mango butter is rich in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as moisturizing essential fatty acids.
Mixed Essential Oils: They help us produce great scents and allow the creation of products with great smell without any severe chemicals. Essentials oils have many health benefits to skin, hair, and overall general health.
Fragrance Oil Blends: Not all fragrance oils are considered bad and our special blends allow us to create scents that are not possible with essential oils alone.
Shea Butter: Naturally rich in Vitamins A, E, and F It is perfect for conditioning and nurturing the skin and hair to soften it.
Vitamin E: has many benefits for hair and skin and protects cells from damage, moisturizes, nourishes hair follicles, and the skin underneath. It also acts as an antioxidant that prolongs the life of our balm naturally free from chemicals.
How To Use Beard Balm
Beard balm is an all-inclusive beard moisturizer, and conditioner that is also used for styling. It is great for men who are looking to control and maintain thicker beards and keep the hair were it should be.
Here are the steps to follow when applying beard balm:
- Comb or brush your beard to remove any tangles and to help train your beard hair which direct to grow in.
- Grab your jar of Lejonjon beard balm and scoop out a fingertip amount; spread the product between both hands to break it down and melt it evenly. The product will then become an oily consistency.
- Run the product through your beard hair from the neckline and upwards through the beard and up to your mustache (if you have one).
- Style your beard with your hands. boar bristle brush or beard comb until the desired shape has been achieved.
- Repeat the process 1 to 2 times a day or as required. For best results, apply beard oil before applying beard balm.
