What is beardruff and how do i get rid of it?
Beardruff is dead skin that builds up underneath the beard hair due to not enough production of Sebum oil. Sebum oil is the oil that the body naturally produces to hydrate, moisturise and keep facial hair healthy and growing. Beardruff is basically the result of a dry and uncared-for beard. If your beard begins to itch, it is most likely due to beardruff and the lack of knowledge on how to fix beard dandruff with a natural beard oil beard wash and beard balm, which are all tailored to attack and solve this problem.
So, how is beardruff treated quickly?
The following are some of the most effective ways to prevent beardruff and natural methods of getting rid of flaky skin in your face:
-
Wash your beard
Wash your beard every 2-3 days. This will help with the preservation of the natural sebum oil which is the number one step in the prevention of dry flakes. Use only a mild beard wash and not general hair shampoo to avoid stripping away the natural oils already in your beard. When washing the beard, it’s best to use a mild wash that is specially made and intended for beard hair.
-
Apply beard oil
Apply some beard oil and work it into the skin and beard hair; hair, this will replace/top up any natural oils that has been lost while washing. It is best not to use cheap carrier oils We use more exspensive cold-pressed natural oils like the organic jojoba and organic sweet almond.
-
Exfoliate the skin
Exfoliate the skin using a beard brush to aid with the removal of dead skin cells and to stimulate and train the beard hair growth direction. Daily brushing in the morning is all that is required to help remove dead skin flakes.
